Under ECO, medium and bigger energy suppliers provide the necessary financing to install energy efficiency improvements in British households. Each obligated supplier is assigned a goal that reflects its share of Britain’s domestic energy market. The obligated suppliers collaborate with professional installers to make sure these measures are installed in your home swiftly and efficiently.

To qualify for ECO4 funding, you must meet certain criteria, including receiving income-based benefits like Universal Credit or Pension Credit. Your property should have a low energy efficiency rating, typically D, E, F, or G. Eligibility also depends on owning your home or having your landlord's permission if renting. The scheme is designed to support low-income households with energy-efficient upgrades.

The Energy Grant Team is not a part of the UK Government but operates as a private consultancy. It provides assistance in accessing government-backed grant programs, such as the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4). These grants are funded by energy suppliers under UK government regulations aimed at improving energy efficiency in homes. The Energy Grant Team acts as an intermediary to help individuals determine eligibility and navigate the application process.
